What Happens When You Give a Kid a Guitar? Magic.

A Look Into The Magic

CMA Fest is famous for its arena-sized sound, yet on June 7 the festival’s most moving moment came from some shaky first few strums in a parking lot away from the hype of booming Broadway. For our third-annual Gibson Giveaway, Free Guitars 4 Kids partnered with Gibson Gives to place 100 brand-new guitars into the hands of kids who might otherwise never hold one. In that small downtown space, possibility rang louder than any main-stage amp.

Artists Who Shared the Spotlight — and the Mission

Our friends in Gibson’s G3 family lent their talents and their hearts, guiding impromptu lessons and jam sessions. A massive Thank You goes out to some of these friends who gave their time and talent with 100 kids and their families-

  • Saxon Weiss

  • Luna Cordoba

  • Jared Nichols

  • Rocco Gorelik

Adding legendary warmth, Grammy-nominated Gramps Morgan rolled up his sleeves to pass guitars directly to eager new players, proving that music’s greatest gift is community.

Powered by Sponsors & Volunteers

A day like this takes an army of helping hands. Volunteers from our champion sponsors arrived early, stayed late, and filled every moment with encouragement:

From loading gear and tuning strings to cheering every shaky first strum, these partners turned good intentions into real-world impact. We’re deeply grateful for your heart and hustle.

More Than Instruments—A Launchpad for Dreams

The Gibson Giveaway is never just about guitars. It’s about opening doors—to dream, to play, to belong. For every child who left clutching a new instrument, a fresh chapter began: one where they aren’t only watching others make music—they’re making it themselves.

To every volunteer, sponsor, artist, and supporter who made this day sing: thank you. Together we’re building futures, one string at a time.

Ready to help us put more music into more young hands? Join the movement—by donating, partnering, or volunteering—so every kid can find their song.
